We are thrilled to invite you to the second edition of a truly extraordinary fishing event – the 24 Hours of Kampen!
The concept is simple: 24 hours, on a boat – a competition reminiscent of the legendary 24-hour races at Le Mans or Nürburgring, but transferred to the exciting world of fishing.
Teams from across Europe will face one of the toughest and most exhilarating challenges in angling in the stunning IJsselmeer-area of Kampen.
An entire week of fishing with friends, qualifying, cocktail-night, BBQ, all at one place.

You can compete in two categories
24 hours of fishing requires more than just endurance. It demands entirely new strategies. What is the best time to target specific species? How will teams divide their efforts – who will fish at night, and who will focus on the day? We eagerly anticipate seeing the tactics and skill of Europe’s anglers as they take on this challenge.
CATEGORY: 2 anglers per team
for those who prefer to fish in smaller teams.
1 BOAT, 2 ANGLERS will pair as a team.

The PitLane is a jetty, specially designed for check-in and check-out, which can be accessed directly from the fishing water and from shore.

What are the basic facts in a few words?
A 24hrs fishing competition. The idea of 24hrs of LeMans or 24hrs of Nürburgring transferred to boat-fishing
Is it for Pro Anglers only?
No, whether you’re a pro, looking to push your limits, or an ambitious angler seeking an extraordinary challenge – the “24 Hours of Kampen” is your event!
What are the basic Competition rules?
Catch, Photograph & Release only. Perch, Zander, Pike + Bonus Fish (Asp or Catfish)
Is it just one day and night?
No, the event runs an entire week. Event participation will include a whole PACKAGE
What kind of Event-package is 24 hrs of Kampen, what’s included?
You will get:
1) Your own boat Jetty! Moore your boat in the Event Marina
2) Competitors BBQ-Night! A Party- & BBQ Evening in the park, you are all hosted in
3) the participation in Qualifying Event to get your Start-Position (maybe Pole-Position)
4) The Competition itself, including the qualifying day to get your event start number
The 24 hrs of KAMPEN is an entire week, together with fishing enthusiasts at the same place, finally crowned by a 24hrs fishing competition.
What are the basics about the PIT-LANE?
in CATEGORY 2 ANGLERS (1 boat):
A maximum fishing time is set. Angler have to “pause” (charge, refuel, rest…) within the 24hrs over all. They will come back to PIT-LANE to check in and out at this central area at least once during the 24 hrs,
in CATEGORY 4 ANGLERS (2 boats):
A maximum fishing time per boat is set. Boats will substitute each other (boat change) at the PIT-LANE. 2 boats will NOT fish same time and proceed a relay race with handing over at PIT-LANE at least once during the 24 hrs.
The idea of 24hrs of KAMPEN is to spent a week together with other fishing fanatics, accept a 24hrs challenge and become WPC – 24hrs of KAMPEN CHAMPION in your chosen category. A TROPY will be handed over to the Top 3 Teams in both categories to crown the best 24hrs anglers.
How can I participate?
Thats easy: Just fill out the registration form. Registration might be closed after a specific number of anglers registered.
What are the costs?
In CATEGORY 2 ANGLERS:
1.200 EUR total = 600 EUR per Angler
In CATEGORY 4 ANGLERS:
2.400 EUR total = 600 EUR per Angler
What is the Event Date?
The WPC 24hrs of KAMPEN will be held from 06.July to 11.July 2026 in Kampen, NL
Fishing area is around Kampen, Ketelmeer, River Ijssel-areas and more.
Is there a program already?
Yep, the basic program is:
Monday:
Arrive and check in your holiday house
Tuesday:
PreFishing, latest arrival and Check In
Wednesday:
+ Qualifying-Event day to get your event start number
+ the BBQ Night
Thursday / Friday:
competition start (exact time of 24hrs start will be given in the event week)
Saturday:
latest competition end and Party

Yep, the latest arrival is (for now) Tuesday Evening to CheckIn and Qualify for your Start#
